URGENT Pawina sets new world record in women's weightlifting

ATHENS, Aug 20 AFP - Pawina Thongsuk of Thailand set a new world record for the snatch
in the Olympic women's weightlifting 75kg category here today, hoisting 122.5kg.

The lift beat the previous record of 120.5kg set only moments earlier by Valentina
Popova of Russia.
